What is Tower Lighting as a Service (TLaaS®)?
TLaaS® means LumenServe purchases and installs a new LED obstruction-lighting system at our cost, then monitors, maintains, and keeps it compliant for one flat monthly fee. You never buy the system, now or in the future. LumenServe pioneered the model and is the only provider of TLaaS® for obstruction lighting.
Does TLaaS® require any capital budget?
No. There is no upfront purchase. You pay a flat monthly operating fee, so tower lighting never has to compete with your other capital projects for funding.
What is included in the monthly fee?
The LED system and its installation, 24/7/365 monitoring, NOTAM filing, FAA-required inspections, all repairs and component replacements, and regular compliance reporting on every tower. Repairs are covered by your flat fee, not billed as surprise emergency invoices.
How long is the term, and what happens at the end?
Terms run up to five (5) years with flat-rate pricing under the LumenServe℠ Price Guarantee. LumenServe will show you the fixed price increases for the following renewal upfront, so you'll know what your monthly payment will be for the next 10 or even 15 years.
What tower types and heights can you light?
All structure types from 200 to 2,200 feet, medium and high intensity, including remote sites. Where there is no grid power, self-contained solar with battery backup can meet FAA specifications with no AC run.
Who handles FAA compliance and outage reporting?
We do. Our dual NOCs monitor around the clock and file a NOTAM within 30 minutes of any qualifying outage, then keep the notice current until the light is repaired. You never call the FAA at 2 a.m.
I already have working lights. Is TLaaS® still right for me?
